By focusing on the following key points, BARRC aims to put new life and energy into the communities of Blairgowrie and Rattray to positive effect:-

Facilitate the work of the numerous organisations in the towns to add value to projects which will benefit the community.

Encourage community involvement in the towns redevelopment infrastructure.

Examine the feasibility of establishing a major tourism attraction as a feature on the banks of the River Ericht or some other suitable site within the towns

Encourage the advancement of community renewable energies, one of which is to utilise water power of the River Ericht.
